Welcome to Spa A La Mer. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, spa services, wellness experiences, and Luxury Lebanon Retreats. By making a reservation, purchasing a product, or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Spa A La Mer

Spa A La Mer offers luxury spa services, wellness experiences, digital products, and curated Luxury Lebanon Retreats designed to provide unforgettable travel, relaxation, and cultural experiences.

2. Booking & Reservations

Reservations are confirmed only after the required payment or deposit has been received.

Retreat spaces are limited and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Spa A La Mer reserves the right to decline or cancel any reservation if payment requirements are not met.

3. Payment Options

Guests may choose from the following payment methods when available:

  • Full payment at the time of booking
  • 25% reservation deposit with the remaining balance due 90 days before departure
  • Approved monthly payment plan

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

4. Passports, Visas & Travel Documents

Guests are solely responsible for obtaining:

  • A valid passport
  • Any required visas
  • Travel authorizations
  • Vaccination or health documentation required by the destination country

Spa A La Mer is not responsible for denied boarding, refused entry, expired passports, or missing travel documents.

5. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Your policy should include coverage for:

  • Trip cancellation
  • Medical emergencies
  • Emergency evacuation
  • Lost luggage
  • Flight delays
  • Trip interruption

Spa A La Mer is not responsible for losses resulting from events covered by travel insurance.

6. Health & Medical Responsibility

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate in retreat activities.

Please notify Spa A La Mer before booking if you have:

  • Medical conditions
  • Dietary restrictions
  • Mobility limitations
  • Allergies
  • Any health concerns that may affect your participation

Spa A La Mer reserves the right to recommend that certain activities be modified or avoided for your safety.

7. Itinerary Changes

Although every effort is made to deliver the published itinerary, Spa A La Mer reserves the right to modify schedules, accommodations, restaurants, transportation, activities, or destinations due to weather, safety concerns, local conditions, supplier availability, or unforeseen circumstances.

Any substitutions will be of comparable quality whenever possible.

8. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to treat fellow travelers, local residents, staff members, accommodations, and property with courtesy and respect.

Spa A La Mer reserves the right to remove any guest whose behavior threatens the safety, enjoyment, or well-being of others.

Guests removed from a retreat due to misconduct are not entitled to a refund.

9. Liability

While every effort is made to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, participation in travel activities carries inherent risks.

By participating, guests acknowledge these risks and agree that Spa A La Mer, its owner, employees, contractors, guides, and partners shall not be held liable for injury, illness, loss, theft, delays, accidents, acts of nature, political events, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Photography & Media

During retreats, photographs and videos may be taken for promotional purposes.

By participating, you grant Spa A La Mer permission to use photographs or videos in marketing materials, social media, and on our website.

If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please notify us in writing before the retreat begins, and we will respect your request whenever reasonably possible.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Spa A La Mer website—including text, photographs, graphics, logos, retreat descriptions, digital products, and branding—is the property of Spa A La Mer and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

12. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We respect your privacy and take reasonable measures to protect your personal information.

13. Force Majeure

Spa A La Mer shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather
  • Government restrictions
  • Political unrest
  • Pandemics
  • Airline disruptions
  • Strikes
  • Acts of terrorism
  • Other force majeure events

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
